About the Role

Moove is looking for an experienced leader with excellent operational and entrepreneurial experience to be the Chief of Staff (“COS”), reporting to the Chief Executive Officer(“CEO”). As a member of the senior leadership team in the company, the Chief of Staff will work extremely closely with the CEO on a daily basis to organise, manage and deliver on the CEO's core deliverables. The Chief of Staff will also support the CEO on the planning, delivery and execution of special projects and initiatives. The Chief of Staff will ultimately act as the main consultant to the CEO; coordinating strategic business initiatives alongside the CEO and guiding them to completion with the primary objective of making time, information, and decision processes more effective. 

What You’ll be Doing

  • Collaborate with the CEO to ensure all objectives and deliverables are met.
  • Supervise daily operations and help oversee special projects alongside the CEO.
  • Manage company calendar and ensure deadlines are being met 
  • Work with and/or lead cross-functional teams 
  • Be a liaison for staff, chief executives, department leaders, and CEO 
  • Assist CEO with internal communication, meeting with leaders and ensuring any problems are resolved 
  • Keep CEO abreast of the current company climate (employee wellbeing, project statuses, new proposals, etc.) 
  • Work with team leaders and present to senior executives 
  • Help coordinate business-wide procedures and work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency, and success 
  • Attend executive meetings and deliver progress reports to CEO

What You will need for this position

  • Graduation from a top tier MBA program
  • At least 2 years experience from a top tier consulting firm, top boutique investment bank, top tier private equity firm or (preferably) venture capital firm.
  • African or significant experience on the African continent is a bonus 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate productively across varying departments
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven 
  • Able to successfully organize, lead and direct large teams of people 
  • Business-minded and a strategic planner 
  • Proven problem solver 
  • Ability to analyze and compile large sets of data and present effective reports 
  • Highly experienced with project coordinating and management 

Where You Will Be Based:


Based primarily from London but requires a significant amount of travel between London, Dubai and major cities in Africa and Asia.
